Esedra @Salaborsa Bologna
For decades, Bologna's former stock exchange building has been linked to the city's main public library, which shares its name. Today, four distinct cultural organizations occupy this space, striving to become the city's central cultural hub.
The team and I developed a visually cohesive, immediate, and easily updatable digital signage system to unify the activities and programs of these organizations, allowing them to share a common space while maintaining their unique identities.

Each of the four organizations (Biblioteca Salaborsa, Cineteca di Bologna, Sala della Musica, and Fondazione per l’Innovazione Urbana) is distinguished by a specific color for immediate recognition. Their exhibitions, events, and activities are displayed on a daily calendar, a weekly calendar, and digital posters, all of which employees can update through a dedicated CMS-based interface.
I designed four large printed banners introducing each organization and explaining their activities. A separate, external site features a digital daily calendar displayed on a map of the area, providing better orientation and information for those outside the building.
