To launch its first EV, Peugeot set up a booth at JovaBeach Party, one of the largest summer live events travelling across Italy.
I worked with Todo’s art director to design a car game from scratch, powered by the energy produced by the players on a kinetic dancefloor.

The game's path unfolds through the night across three different scenarios set in a near future, where the concepts of technology and sustainability gradually merge. The goal of the game is to reach the end in the shortest possible time: the more the players move on the kinetic platform, the greater the speed achieved.

We designed the scenario to match the look and feel connected to the E208: nocturnal, energetic, sustainable, enlightened. After sketching the storyboard and defining a palette for each scene, I created the concept art for the client’s approval.

EV technology, the kinetic dance floor and the gameplay are tightly related, as clean energy is generated by the players dancing; if they jump at the same time, they can boost their speed on the video game by catching power-ups specific to each scene.

Throughout the race, players can monitor their energy level, time and score. Furthermore, they are presented with alerts to get the boosts and facts on the Peugeot E208.
